Documents Required for LMPC Certificate

To secure the LMPC certificate, you must file the following documents with the legal metrology department.:
  • Memorandum of Association of the company.
  • Certificate of Incorporation of the company.
  • Partnership deed for partnership firm.
  • Import Export Code (for importer of prepackaged goods).
  • Trade License, Manufacture License or Factory License from the concerned authority.
  • If the applicant does not possess an MCD license, they must submit an affidavit undertaking to confirm the business premises is within the confirming zone and will not require sealing or relocation in future.
  • Residential Address Proof of Proprietor/Director/Partner via Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, etc.
  • Proof of GST Registration.
  • Details regarding materials used for packaging commodities like labels, stickers, etc.
  • Passport size photographs of directors/partners/proprietor.
