Whether you’re shopping online, booking tickets, or paying bills, a RuPay credit card ensures seamless transactions while giving you the flexibility of credit.

What is RuPay Credit Card?

Imagine having a card that gives you the freedom to buy what you need today and pay for it later—that’s exactly what a RuPay Credit Card offers! Unlike a debit card that deducts money directly from your bank account, a RuPay credit card allows you to borrow funds up to a set limit, which you can repay later, often with interest.

Who Issues RuPay Credit Cards?

RuPay credit cards are co-branded cards issued by various Indian banks in partnership with NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India). This means you get the security and convenience of RuPay’s domestic payment network along with the financial backing of your bank.

Recently, RuPay credit cards have been integrated with the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), allowing users to link their credit cards with UPI apps for seamless payments. This feature enables quick transactions without needing to carry physical cards.

Below are the step by step process to link RuPay credit card with UPI Payment App

Step 2: Access Your Profile

In the top right corner of the app, tap on your Profile picture. This will take you to your account settings.

Step 3: Add Your RuPay Credit Card

Now, it’s time to input your RuPay credit card information. Ensure that you accurately enter the card number, expiration date, CVV, and cardholder’s name. Double-check this information to avoid any errors.

Step 6: Verify Your Account

To complete the verification process, Google Pay will send a One-Time Password (OTP) to the mobile number linked with your bank account. Enter this OTP promptly as it is time-sensitive.

Step 7: Set Up Your UPI PIN

Next, you’ll need to create a UPI PIN for secure transactions. Follow the on-screen instructions:
